Soul Full Of Scars

On a journey through a house of falling shards

Closer to the dreadful within my own heart

And I always knew that, it would come to this

That I would give in to my selfish desirers!

And then it all turned to hate!

When all of my hope failed!

And now only the night remains!

I cannot break free from this spell!

Constantly dwelling in my own despair!

Am I alone in this garden surrounded by flowers?

From afar a faint smell of a golden sea

A radiant meadow beyond all beauty shines through the petals

I can feel its warm embrace gently stroking my face!

I'm drifting forth for endless miles

Past the eyes of this shallow night

Disturbed only by a thousand cosmic flies

A taste of dying stars light

I'm engulfed by a thousand glowing eyes

In a never ending sea of vivid colours

Darker than pale clinging to walls

Thoughts aimlessly swim in shallow water

Time and time again it's always how the story goes

One is weak another is strong but both are bold

I would spread my wings and watch how time flows

But it seems these aching bones have made me old

Three is a crowd, look past the shroud, but it was my folly!

Sometimes I wonder how I became so cold
